NEED A SHOT OF INSPIRATION?

Wednesday, June 16th, 2010

Following a piece of research we did last year, where we asked clients past and present what they really value about working with us, we’ve developed a new brainstorming proposition to help you find creative ways of tackling your toughest challenges.  Clients told us that our creativity and commercial acumen, coupled with our focus on delivering tangible results, really set us apart, and that the ideas we generate make a real difference to their business.  As well as offering this brainstorming service to current clients, we’ve also run sessions for people who we’re not currently retained by (it’s an affordable way of putting us through our paces and getting something useful in return – what’s not to like?).

After a recent brainstorm with our new client Searcys, Michelle Cartwright, general manager of the St Pancras Grand & Westfield Champagne Bars, said, “Focus PR hosted an innovative, dynamic, fun brainstorming session at St Pancras. The team was energetic, positive and extremely sassy and the results are a resourceful, imaginative, vibrant campaign to ensure St Pancras is an iconic trend leader within the Champagne world.”

MAKING SOCIAL MEDIA WORK FOR YOU

Wednesday, June 16th, 2010

How are you tackling the ever-developing world of social media?  Lots of brands are confused as to how to make it work for them, not to mention how to measure its commercial value.  We came up with a consumer engagement campaign for Cadbury Twisted which has won numerous awards for its use of social media (including the just-announced 2009 SABRE Award for New & Digital Media).  Consumers could live and breathe the brand, using their creativity and online network of friends and followers to be a part of the campaign, resulting in unprecedented levels of web activity and a 50% increase in visitors to the brand’s website. Mashable.com said, “We have seen and heard about a lot of impressive social media marketing campaigns in recent months… but the most recent campaign from Cadbury may be the most creative idea yet.”
