The hottest design trend for this Spring-Summer has captured the essence of the indoor-outdoor lifestyle, so  no surprise that Pantone’s 2017 colour of the year is Greenery…as referenced in our recent blogpost ‘Green is the new black’.

Varying shades of green that symbolise rejuvenation and revitalisation can currently be seen across catwalks, the high street, and green is THE go-to interior design colour.

From succulents, to glorious monstera plants, nature is entering our living and working spaces more than ever, not to mention the added benefit of improving our health.  (Fact: plants help reduce stress, increase productivity and improve indoor air quality.)

And BREATHE…

In this fast-paced life we’re reconnecting with simple pleasures. Perhaps thanks to our increasingly digital world? Is it the feeling of grass beneath our feet (or the newly laid AstroTurf in the local beer garden) that anchors us back in the “real world”?

Greenery pairs well with many other colours; of course, the easiest way to add greenery to your lifestyle is (duh!) with pot plants, nevertheless there are plenty of other sources creating the ‘scene on the green’ this summer.

Here are some of our favourites:

GEO Fleur
The Bespoke Botanical beauty of ‘Geo fleur’.

Based in merry Stratford, these guys offer everything from terrarium workshops, to plant clubs.

JUNIQE

Struggling to keep your real life plants alive? Then perhaps a ‘botanical art’ is the way to go for you,  JUNIQE’s print on demand site has a fantastic botanical range from wall art, to duvet covers.
