When Pantone announced that ‘Greenery’ would be the colour of 2017, who knew there would be a manic scramble for succulents and Monstera leaves? Pair this with numerous studies and research indicating that a touch of fresh greenery promotes workplace productivity, and you have a winning theme for the year.

So it was a given that leading online interiors retailer (and FOCUS client) Wayfair – would embrace the trend for bringing the outdoors in.

Teaming up with TripAdvisor Rentals, we worked with Wayfair to transform one of the iconic Coca-Cola London Eye capsules into a jungle oasis overnight. As part of a wider campaign to drive awareness for the new rental homes offering from TripAdvisor, one lucky winner was offered the chance to be the first ever to stay overnight in the styled London Eye capsule.

Wayfair’s resident style advisor Nadia McCowan Hill was on hand to host media in both the Coca-Cola London Eye VIP lounge and for private flights in the styled capsule on rotation throughout the day, providing insight into the styling of the capsule as well as interior style trends forecast for 2017.

Media guests attending included Ideal Home, House & Garden, Prima, 25 Beautiful Homes, Real Homes and HomeStyle. Feedback from media and guests alike was how beautiful the urban oasis was, and what a unique experience it was. Result.
